From here, you will see an overview of what to expect throughout the process and get answers to frequently asked questions. To begin your merger, click Continue. You'll need to set aside 10 - 15 minutes to complete the questionnaire. Please have buyer and seller agency owner information available along with information for any business entities with an ownership interest in the purchasing agency. If you need to step away from the questionnaire, no problem--just be sure to save your progress and come back within 90 days to finish the questionnaire.

What to expect

Start Buying agency initiates merger by answering the questionnaire.
Get started
Review Licensing reviews application and requests applicable documents.
Review
Return Buying agency returns any required documentation to Licensing.
Notification
Finalize Licensing will do a final check and notify buying agency when the merger is completed.

Progressive is limiting new agency appointments in some areas of Florida.

PLEASE NOTE: If a book of business is sold or transferred to an agent or business not currently appointed with Progressive, there is no guarantee we will approve the new business relationship. Please consider the impact on your customers when choosing to sell or move your book of business to a non-appointed Progressive agent, as that entity or customer will have to call Progressive directly for all servicing needs.
